Dr. Indradev Shukla, IPS (Ret.) , Law & Order | Security Strategy | Criminology

Dr. Indradev Shukla is a retired IPS officer and former Director General of Police, Goa with over three decades of leadership in law-and-order, VIP protection, criminal records management and prison reform. He combines frontline policing experience with advanced legal and academic training — LLB, LLM and a Doctorate in Law — and over five published research papers in criminology.

Mission statement:

To strengthen policing through evidence-based policy, technology adoption, humane prison reform and accountable oversight while mentoring the next generation of law enforcement leaders.

• Former DGP, Goa; Senior leadership roles in Delhi Police and NCRB.
• Academic: M.Sc. (Physics), LLB, LLM (DU), Ph.D. (Puducherry University).
• Current: Member, Police Complaint Authority, Goa State (term July 2022 – July 2025).
